All the fun of the Fair
Well to be more precise it was the World Travel Market 2009 held at the Excel Center in London. It was my first time at this event and it was quite the spectacle with some truly vast booths and many global destinations all trying to catch the visitors attention. Traditional dancing displays were popular and there were plenty of local foods on offer if you were feeling peckish. There was also a disproportionately high number of bars - travel must be thirsty work I guess! Had good talks with several small countries - not something that happens every day.
Here’s a few photos from the show.

As always a great read and interesting photos. Glad I stumbled on this. In particular I love the mycological accounts, are any of those edible???
Happy Holidays old friend, best to you and the family.
Hello Roy, great to hear from you.
I don’t believe any of the species I photographed were edible but need to get myself a top notch guidebook to be absolutely sure. We do have some great ones out there and a friend of mine on the outskirts of London has had a good season he told me this autumn with the fungi hunting!
Hope you and the family are well and you are fishing as much as ever and slaying them as usual. The fish orgasm lives on!
All the best,
Paul
